Look. The UK is an island. All of Western and Eastern Europe can fit in the US...easily. Except there exists many many layers of state security from country to country and geographically there are many barriers to the illegal importation of firearms into any European country. The US? We have none of that. We have 8,000 miles of navigable coastline. We have 3000 miles of virtually unregulated highly corrupt countries to our South with minimal security systems. We have 2500 miles of border to the South and another 3000 along the North. We have the most navigable river systems on earth. We have interstates stretching nonstop from Boston to Seattle. It is impossible to do a gun ban in the US. Utterly impossible and if we ever try it, the market will explode and every entry point possible will be choked with unregulated untracable firearms -- especially fully automatic weapons -- and the gun violence won't decrease, it will explode.

Jessie I would trust you with carrying a weapon but your a well trained military person. Most gun owners are just egotistical turds who just have an ax to grind. My brother hunted but only game animals and I love venison but there's a point where they just own them because they can and that serves no purpose at all! That's where it has to stop, they can only fire one at a time so why own 50 or more unless you have 50 or more arms.
